RE: FFA Leadership Taining Camp

June 12-16, 2017

Doyle, TN

FFA Leadership Training Camp is one of the highlights of the year.  FFA members from across the state of Tennessee travel each summer to a remote location on the Caney Fork River in Van Buren County to attend a weeklong leadership conference at Camp Clements, which is possibly the oldest FFA camp in the country. Camp Clements plays host to a week of fun, fellowship, and leadership development for campers. For many it is the most enjoyable and entertaining week of their year. Nearly one thousand FFA members leave Camp Clements every year with an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime. If you would like to see more information & a camp video please visit our FFA Chapter website (www.crockettcounty.ffanow.org) and follow the link for FFA Camp!

Remember attending FFA Camp and earning a leadership awards earns your way to attend FFA National Convention in the fall! Also FFA Camp attendance is required to be a FFA Chapter Officer next year!

First of all you must secure your spot for this trip. Camp costs $182 plus transportation costs. Our FFA Chapter and FFA Alumni Chapter help offset that cost each year. Your total cost for FFA Camp will be $175.  There is a $75 deposit due by March 31, 2017 to Mrs. Haley Williams. (THIS DEPOSIT IS NONREFUNDABLE.) The remaining $100 due for Camp will be due by May 10, 2017 to Ms Haley. Please make checks payable to CCHS FFA.

This cost includes your housing for the week, meals for the week, group camp picture, and camp T-shirt! Our FFA Alumni and FFA Chapter will be covering the cost of transportation to and from FFA Camp and the additional portion.  When you bring your deposit we will give you and your parents all the details and forms for the trip.
